Culinary Service Specialist

The Culinary Service Specialist will report to the Culinary Program Manager and will be responsible for preparing the ingredients for Tree House lobster rolls and pizza, according to predetermined specifications, and serving the items to guests. This individual will ensure an exceptional guest experience and contribute to our overarching mission of crafting the finest beverages and food in a welcoming and memorable environment.

Working Conditions: Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in a mobile food unit and standing for extended periods. Mobile food units operate in all weather conditions. Training will be required for both pizza and lobster roll service. Throughout the year, team members will alternate between preparing lobster rolls and pizza.

This position is SEASONAL, part-time, and requires consistent availability Thursday through Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare lobster rolls following the specifications outlined in our Tree House lobster roll SOP.
  • Prepare pizza in accordance with our Tree House pizza SOP.
  • Serve food items to customers in a friendly and inviting manner.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure ingredients meet Tree House standards.
  • Label and organize ingredients in proper FIFO order for easy access.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas and the overall kitchen.
  • Ensure all kitchen ingredients adhere to company policies and product shelf dates, utilizing the oldest products first.
  • Uphold company standards for safety, food handling practices, sanitation, and productivity.
  • Perform additional kitchen duties as assigned.
Applicant Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the food service sector.
  • A food handler's license is preferred.
  • Demonstrated food preparation and handling experience.
  • Familiarity with proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes accurately.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
