Key Responsibilities

As an
Environmental Project Specialist, your role will encompass site planning, design, permitting, and oversight during the construction phases of various projects. You will also conduct fieldwork, which may involve collecting measurements, sediment sampling, and performing inspections.

Your responsibilities will include utilizing AutoCAD for design work, developing technical specifications, preparing reports, and conducting construction observations.

Additionally, you will support business development efforts to secure new projects and clients.



Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum of
four years of experience in consulting engineering within the water sector. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related discipline is required, with a Master's degree being advantageous.

Candidates should hold a
PE license or demonstrate the capability to obtain one shortly. Experience in ecological restoration project design is preferred, along with expertise in areas such as hydrology, geotechnical engineering, or wetland science.

Proficiency in
AutoCAD and familiarity with modeling software such as
HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and GIS tools is expected. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
