Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager to lead our Carthage location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional member service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Branch Operations
    • Ensure that branch operations are conducted in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Provide guidance and direction to branch staff.
    • Ensure branch security and respond to alarms as necessary.
  • Member Service
    • Develop a thorough knowledge of credit union products and services.
    • Solicit new deposit accounts by selling member-appropriate products and services.
    • Process loan requests and ensure accurate and timely completion of documents.
  • Staff Management
    • Supervise and coach branch staff to ensure optimal performance.
    • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, and developing branch staff.
    • Conduct regular meetings with staff to inform, coach, and train.
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of required reports and records.
    • Monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education/Certification
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • Additional college coursework in business or finance is preferred.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of two to three years of related experience in a financial institution.
    • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Skills/Abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and member service skills.
    • Excellent supervisory and training abilities.
    • Well-organized and attention to detail.
    • Ability to understand, interpret, and enforce policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills
    • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Additional Requirements
    • Financial institution experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
