RN Branch Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to fill the position of Administrator at Heartland Hospice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hospice locations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Oversee the coordination of patient admissions and ancillary services
- Direct, supervise, and evaluate hospice personnel and volunteers
- Coordinate services of all team members at the multi-disciplinary site
- Quality Improvement
- Demonstrate a commitment to excellence through focusing on quality care and service
- Incorporate continuous quality improvement principles in day-to-day activities
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
- Promote and monitor compliance with requirements and standards established by accrediting or licensing agencies, regulatory agencies, and state or federal law
- Human Resources and Operations
- Manage human resources effectively
- Plan and organize tasks and resources to achieve strategic goals and objectives
- Ensure documentation of services is accurate and timely
- Financial Management
- Manage financial resources prudently and effectively
- Prepare, monitor, and review monthly bills, supply costs, expense requests, mileage reimbursement, payroll, and other expenses
- Education
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- Master's degree in business, nursing, or related field preferred
- Experience
- Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required
- Two or more years' experience in hospice/home care required
- Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting preferred
- Three to five years healthcare sales/management experience preferred
- Licenses, Certifications, and Registration
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment, if applicable
- CPR Certification
- Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license
