Position Summary:

The Regional Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing office functions, production activities, and facility oversight across multiple branch locations. This role is salaried and includes the possibility of an annual bonus based on the profitability of the branches and other critical performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage quotes and orders for external sales personnel and clients.
  • Ensure timely responses for quotes and order acknowledgments.
  • Conduct regular meetings with vendors and suppliers.
  • Oversee product sourcing initiatives.
  • Engage in local customer visits and accompany outside sales teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with the branch belt shop leader to enhance shop production efficiency.
  • Assist in scheduling installation projects.
  • Streamline shop fabrication processes and workflows.
  • Supervise shop supply orders and approvals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate re-orders as necessary.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of all shop processes, including shipping, receiving, and fabrication.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating all shop equipment.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance for shop equipment.
  • Oversee inside sales personnel within the branches, ensuring timely quote and order acknowledgment responses.
  • Supervise shop staff, including the Belt Shop Manager and technicians.
  • Manage work schedules and timecards for branch hourly employees.
  • Coordinate repairs and upgrades to branch facilities.
  • Maintain IT equipment and communication systems within the facility.
  • Schedule and manage access for external contractors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for intercompany communications.
  • Report all branch activities to the supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • Experience in the Industrial Distribution sector.
  • Previous leadership or management experience is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
  • Responsive and respectful to customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with cold calling in person and over the phone.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to work after hours and on weekends as needed.
  • Availability for overnight travel.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.

Position Type and Expected Hours:

This is a full-time role within a shop and at customer sites. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4 PM, with frequent overtime and weekend work as necessary.

Compensation Range: $60,000 - $75,000 annually
