Position Summary

As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing various aspects of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Engaging with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the bidding process
  • Developing comprehensive project scopes
  • Planning and executing project activities
  • Managing documentation, including safety records, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittals, and closeout documents
  • Coordinating with subcontractors and superintendents
  • Traveling to project sites as necessary
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a motivated construction professional with a background in commercial, retail, or healthcare projects. Key qualifications include:
  • 0-2 years of experience in commercial construction
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks, including document control
  • Experience in preparing submittal schedules
  • Assisting Project Managers with change orders and subcontractor scheduling
  • Supporting Superintendents with RFI reports and QA/QC documentation
  • Involvement in preconstruction tasks, including estimating
  • Collecting and organizing closeout documents and punch lists
