Position Summary

The IT Manager role is situated within Prolink's Information Technology division, collaborating with key stakeholders to coordinate, plan, and oversee computer-related operations, encompassing IT infrastructures and desktop support. This position includes the management of a dedicated team of IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic direction, architecture, and processes of the IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure and ensure robust security measures.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance IT infrastructures and desktop support services.
  • Monitor IT system performance to assess cost-effectiveness and productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and develop tailored IT solutions.
  • Evaluate vendors and formulate testing strategies for new hardware and software.
  • Assist with the deployment and logistics of Strike equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
  • Manage and report on the allocation of the IT budget.
  • Conduct regular assessments of network and data security.
  • Guide the strategic direction, onboarding, performance management, and career development of the IT infrastructure and support team.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Full-time onsite availability.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Skype.
  • Experience in hardware and software installation and support.
  • Familiarity with computer operations, hardware, or desktop support.
  • Knowledge of SDWAN and contemporary cloud infrastructure technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VLAN, NAT, DHCP, DNS, etc.), Microsoft Azure, Cisco Meraki, Zoom, Teams, and cloud-based telephony.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Competence in utilizing various business or technical programs to accomplish tasks.
  • High level of integrity, motivation, accountability, and alignment with Prolink's core values.
