We are in search of a proactive individual who will collaborate with our Business and Operations teams to assess current and future IT requirements, deliver IT business solutions, nurture internal talent, and formulate departmental budgets. As a pivotal technology leader, the ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and sustaining the IT infrastructure, offering technical solutions, providing training, and recommending avenues for continuous improvement. The IT Manager will report globally to the Director of IT and locally to the Regional Managing Director.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage staff in a collaborative, team-oriented, and dynamic service environment by ensuring timely communication, coordinating team projects, providing coaching and training, and setting performance objectives while holding team members accountable.
- Oversee Service Provider Relationships and Performance for the Cincinnati site in alignment with the global IT framework, working closely with both global service providers and local vendors on WAN/LAN, Security & Communications, Desktop Services, Data Center, Help Desk, SAP/ERP functionality, and mobile solutions.
- Assist team members in delivering second-level support to end users for all desktop and network-related incidents, including support for our SAP ERP system.
- Collaborate with Global IT leadership to enhance company operations and strategic initiatives by developing a reliable network infrastructure, integrating user needs into development plans, and providing comprehensive technical and user support.
- Achieve financial objectives by forecasting IT needs, preparing an annual budget (both capital and operational), and ensuring effective expenditure management.
- Manage the procure-to-pay process for North America IT, including requisitioning, obtaining approvals, and processing invoices to ensure timely payments.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Management Information Systems or Information Systems, along with continuous education and/or relevant experience.
- Completion of SAP technical or process training in at least one functional area, with additional training in other SAP modules being advantageous.
- Experience in implementation and migration is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP S4/HANA is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing diverse IT systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft network systems and applications.
- Understanding of basic business terminology and practices.
- Proven success in team management and leadership.
- Experience in building and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong communication skills, capable of directing teams and interacting with management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to lead both business and technical aspects of the IT department.
- Commitment to quality and customer service, with a focus on meeting deadlines and resolving complex technical challenges.
- 3 to 5 years of recent full-time experience as an SAP analyst/configurator or related SAP business experience, with knowledge of integration between modules and basic configuration skills.
- Preferred experience in SAP project implementation as a developer, integration expert, or support analyst.
- Prior experience with SAP S4/HANA is advantageous.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work Environment:
- Support core business hours, typically 40 hours per week, with potential additional hours required during evenings, weekends, or holidays for emergencies or project needs.
