Fully Remote Opportunity

Lynx Technology Partners is seeking a Senior Endpoint Management Engineer to become a vital member of our clients' Global Workplace Services End User Computing team. This role will focus on the strategic planning, design, construction, and advanced support of the Endpoint Management platforms tailored for Windows environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities, self-motivation, adaptability, and reliability. This position is crucial for maintaining product currency and proactively implementing feature upgrades. Collaboration across various projects will be essential for achieving successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver oversight, governance, and tactical guidance necessary for effective IT service delivery.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and operational governance framework.
  • Research, design, and implement components that are standards-compliant, high-performing, highly available, and secure to fulfill business needs.
  • Document solutions and facilitate knowledge transfer through designs, build documents, and operational guides for external service providers.
  • Educate both internal and external users on technologies to enhance the organization's operational knowledge and skill set.
  • Engineer, design, and provide advanced operational guidance for the enterprise's endpoint management platforms.
  • Analyze the current environment to identify critical deficiencies and propose improvement solutions.
  • Utilize capability modeling to align systems strategy with business objectives.
  • Consult with project teams to determine necessary service modifications to meet project requirements.
  • Evaluate and select service products.
  • Implement and advocate for standardized configuration and change management processes.
  • Develop test plans, implementation strategies, and project timelines for assigned initiatives.

Technology Delivery

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses for service delivery processes and projects.
  • Support existing systems and projects across at least one environment.
  • Review requirement completeness prior to solution development.
  • Plan and coordinate implementations, ensuring quality control of systems functional design, usability, and functionality.
  • Provide input to support desk change management efforts related to new system training.
  • Coordinate with relevant IT and vendor relations teams.
  • Alert leadership to any degraded or missed service levels promptly.

IT Governance

  • Adhere to all defined IR standards and processes, providing input for improvements as necessary.
  • Maintain a balanced approach between business and operational risks.
  • Follow established project management standards and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience in integrating cutting-edge endpoint management capabilities within a large, geographically diverse environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in architecting and engineering Microsoft INTUNE solutions.
  • Experience with Design Thinking methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SAFE Agile practices.
  • Background in technical operations, administration, or engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience/certification.
  • 5+ years of overall experience in information technology, including:
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and developing solutions for modern Windows endpoints.
  • 4+ years of experience in application distribution, configuration management, asset management, and other endpoint lifecycle capabilities using Microsoft INTUNE.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for diverse audiences, including executives and IT teams.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
