Position Overview

The IT Manager role is situated within Prolink's Information Technology division and collaborates with key stakeholders to orchestrate, plan, and oversee computer-related functions, encompassing IT infrastructure and desktop support. This position includes the management of a dedicated team of IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategy, architecture, and processes of IT infrastructure.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure and security measures.
  • Lead the management and enhancement of IT infrastructure and desktop support services.
  • Monitor the performance of IT systems to evaluate cost efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and develop IT solutions.
  • Evaluate vendors and create testing strategies for new hardware and software.
  • Assist with the deployment and logistics of Strike equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT operations.
  • Manage and report on the allocation of the IT budget.
  • Conduct regular assessments of network and data security.
  • Guide the strategic direction, onboarding, performance management, and career development of IT infrastructure and support team members through consistent feedback and guidance.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Full-time onsite availability.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • 7+ years of experience in managing computer networks and systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Teams, and Skype.
  • Experience in hardware and software installation and support.
  • Knowledge of computer operations, hardware, or desktop support.
  • Familiarity with SDWAN and modern cloud technologies.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (VLAN, NAT, DHCP, DNS, etc.), Microsoft Azure, Cisco Meraki, Zoom, Teams, and cloud-based telephony.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet deadlines and adjust to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to utilize various business or technical programs to accomplish tasks.
  • High integrity, motivation, accountability, perseverance, and alignment with Prolink's core values.
