We are currently assisting our client with a search for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in a manufacturing setting. This manager will lead and mentor a team of engineers and be responsible for supporting new product launches, existing lines, capital equipment projects, plant metrics management, and ensuring continuous improvement throughout the organization. A qualified candidate will have extensive experience in creating long-term performance strategies, developing the skills of a team of engineers, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the engineering team to develop best practices in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving process and production issues.
  • Develop methods, processes, and procedures to improve processes, eliminate failures, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Determine long-term company objectives in terms of production metrics and develop action plans to achieve those strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations, marketing, and product development, to ensure company needs are met.
  • Lead efforts in testing, installing, and commissioning manufacturing assembly lines for new products.
  • Oversee team members while contributing to continuous improvement at the site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with a preference for an engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience with in-depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing, technology, and processes.
