Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, assisting with report preparation, review, and fieldwork procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure project deliverables are met efficiently.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion, including proposal preparation.
  • Oversee field and laboratory activities for geotechnical investigations across various structures.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships while exploring new business opportunities.
  • Assist in managing project workloads and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Handle project administration tasks, including budget management and invoicing.
  • Prepare cost proposals and contribute to marketing efforts.
  • Engage with professional societies and industry groups.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification or the ability to obtain it within one year.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical aspects related to civil engineering disciplines.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and client relationships effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in geotechnical markets relevant to our office locations.
  • Willingness to engage with the engineering community through presentations and participation in professional groups.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
