Position Overview:
The International Manufacturing Specialist will enhance global manufacturing efficiency through collaboration in equipment, process engineering, and product engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership in Manufacturing Processes:
Oversee technical enhancements and provide troubleshooting assistance in metal and plastic fabrication.
Boost manufacturing efficiency as indicated by process KPIs.
Facilitate alignment on manufacturing process standards across remote sites to ensure optimal safety, quality, and productivity.
Mentor site manufacturing engineering teams for professional growth.

Strategic Equipment Management:
Implement improvement initiatives for helical wire processing machinery.
Maintain and refresh the global proprietary machine design drawing catalog.
Direct the global machine maintenance strategy to enhance asset availability.
Evaluate and support the development of new capital equipment business cases.

Collaboration with Product Engineering:
Offer insights for product development engineers focusing on Design for Manufacturability.
Assist in the implementation of PLM software.

Technical Support and Operational Expertise:
Introduce innovative manufacturing developments to PLP sites globally.
Evaluate overall operational performance and initiate improvement measures.

Qualifications:
B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
A minimum of ten years in manufacturing process engineering.
Proficient understanding of manufacturing technologies and processing methods.
At least five years of management experience.
Competence in using computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Familiarity with manufacturing, inventory control, and costing software applications.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills are crucial.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across various departments and locations.
Excellent organizational capabilities are essential.
Strong project management and follow-up skills are necessary.
Must possess the ability to work in a standard plant and office environment and utilize standard office equipment, including computers. The role requires stamina to maintain focus despite interruptions, the strength to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, and the vision to read printed materials and computer screens.
