The IT support team at Hotels at Home is dedicated to delivering technology services and assistance to all employees worldwide. Our mission is to enhance employee productivity through collaboration and innovation, enabling our staff to create a home environment that our customers cherish. We are eager to expand our IT department by welcoming a skilled individual who seeks exposure to our extensive desktop computing technology and intricate technical framework. The Technical Support Specialist will offer both onsite and remote technical support to users, serving as the primary point of contact for IT-related issues and addressing Level 1 technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Respond promptly to incoming IT support requests.
- Collaborate with Level 2 support for issue escalation when necessary.
- Facilitate user onboarding and offboarding while ensuring accurate documentation.
- Set up desktop equipment for users.
- Maintain IT equipment and provide support during system outages.
- Create and deploy Windows images for desktops and laptops.
- Ensure all equipment is updated, tracked, and documented appropriately.
- Assist senior IT team members with various projects.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with the IT team.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant practical experience.
- Over 1 year of pertinent IT experience.
