About the Role

As a Business Development Manager at Bellwether Technology, you will be responsible for connecting prospects' IT problems and challenges with our solution. You will consult with business leaders to help them understand how our Managed IT Services allows their company to leverage technology, making them eager to explore what that might look like for them. Your ultimate goal will be to bring in new business that will create recurring monthly revenue.

A Typical Day

This is a results-oriented position, but you will have an enormous amount of freedom to determine not only your schedule but your approach to business development. You will get to know the account management team at Bellwether, but the bulk of your time will be spent engaging with prospects and referral sources either out in the community or by phone and email.

How You Will Achieve Your Sales Goals

You will build relationships, set meetings, and guide prospects through the sales process. You will have marketing support and technology tools to assist you in developing a list of ideal prospects along with an outreach strategy to convert leads into appointments.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an ambitious individual who takes the initiative to prospect and find new meetings. You should have a proven track record of closing new business in a sales position and a knack for networking. You should also have exceptional time management and prioritization skills, as well as experience crafting and delivering presentations for each occasion.

Requirements

We require 3+ years in B2B sales, hunting, and quota-bearing. You should be a people person and a great communicator, with a college degree or equivalent preferred. You should also be open to constructive criticism and always eager to learn new things.
