Position Summary: The Senior Manager role within the Reporting & Performance Team is crucial for collaborating with the Performance leadership to enhance all aspects of performance measurement, GIPS compliance, attribution analysis, and index management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and review performance metrics, including Time-Weighted Return (TWR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and investment multiples.
  • Ensure compliance with performance calculation standards and GIPS principles.
  • Analyze accounting data at the portfolio level to assess performance impacts.
  • Generate contribution and attribution reports, addressing any discrepancies arising from data inconsistencies.
  • Assist in the Request for Proposals (RFP) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) by consolidating portfolio and composite data.
  • Support the team with scheduled reports and ad-hoc inquiries.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new indices and maintain existing index frameworks.
  • Verify composite performance calculations in accordance with GIPS standards.
  • Engage in various projects such as GIPS third-party verification and system transitions.

Business Analysis:

  • Document and analyze business, functional, and technical requirements.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of complex data to derive actionable insights.
  • Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing aligned with business needs.
  • Develop documentation for current and future state processes and data flows.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to operational processes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in accounting, operations, or investment performance within the financial services sector, ideally in investment management.
  • Strong understanding of Fixed Income and Equity securities.
  • Proven expertise in investment performance analysis and business process improvement.
  • Familiarity with accounting and investment performance reporting is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Geneva accounting, Bloomberg, and FactSet is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) for report generation is beneficial; familiarity with Python is a plus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Portfolio Managers, clients, and stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting or Economics. Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CIPM are advantageous.

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include discretionary bonuses, a comprehensive benefits package, and flexible work arrangements.
