Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including monthly cash flow statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements for review and compliance purposes.
- Generate detailed lead schedules for asset and liability accounts, ensuring precision and clarity in financial documentation.
- Conduct thorough reconciliations and analyses of general ledger accounts.
- Oversee the management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions.
- Record, categorize, and reconcile client bank and credit card transactions.
- Monitor cash receipts and commission schedules to ensure accurate tracking.
- Prepare and review intricate client statements and reports for senior management review.
- Compile client meeting packages to facilitate discussions.
- Address general accounting inquiries and manage complex accounting tasks, escalating issues as necessary.
- Deliver outstanding client service by adhering to quality standards and deadlines.
- Maintain effective communication and foster relationships with managers, clients, agents, and legal representatives.
- Assist associates and new team members in grasping client-related processes and accounting principles.
- Participate in ad hoc projects as required by the business.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in accounting is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping for corporate and high-profile clients.
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory capacity is essential.
- Extensive knowledge of general ledger functions, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Familiarity with royalty payment processes.
- Experience with AgilLink and QuickBooks software/QBO is highly desirable.
- Strong command of MS Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and effective communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Proven ability to address inquiries, resolve issues, and cultivate positive client relationships.
- Effective time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
- Capability to mentor and lead new team members.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
