Job Summary

The Medication Manager is a critical role at Carlton Senior Living Davis, responsible for overseeing the medication management process and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directly supervise Medication Technicians, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
  • Ensure accurate and timely dispensation of medications, verifying resident information and physician orders.
  • Manage medication refill and changes, maintaining records and logs as per state regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and supervise medication storage, destruction, and disposal, adhering to infection control and standard precautions policies.
  • Report resident changes in condition to the Community Nurse and/or Director of Resident Services.
  • Supervise staff schedules and perform daily payroll edits, adjusting records as necessary.
  • Participate in prevention, reporting, and management of Workers' Comp. Claims.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
  • Current First Aid Certification.
  • DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance.
  • Health screening and negative TB test.
