Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operations of the Special Projects and Dyna Electric division, ensuring alignment with our Service and Controls divisions.
  • Drive business growth by identifying and engaging with the Right Customers that align with our Vision, Values, and Objectives.
  • Negotiate and review contracts to secure advantageous terms for the organization.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture throughout the branch.
  • Facilitate project planning from initiation through to completion, ensuring all phases are executed effectively.
  • Develop strong relationships with team members through mentorship and guidance.
  • Support the organizational mission by enhancing management reporting, information flow, and business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational systems, processes, and policies.
  • Promote a positive work environment that encourages creativity, teamwork, and high energy among employees.
  • Play a crucial role in the development of staff, focusing on operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Mechanical or Electrical industry is essential.
  • Experience with union operations is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in Senior Project Management, Operations, and Sales is required.
  • Willingness to travel to various branch locations as needed.
  • Strong estimating skills are necessary.
  • Proficient understanding of financials and profit & loss statements is required.
  • Ability to evaluate bids and design job layouts is essential.
  • Demonstrated decision-making capabilities are required.
  • Ability to interpret construction documents and blueprints is essential.
  • Familiarity with the processes for document submission and acquisition is necessary.
  • Strong mathematical skills are required.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes is necessary.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail are required.
  • Proven leadership skills and vision in managing teams are essential.
  • Strong people management skills with a collaborative work style are required.
