Restaurant Operations Manager

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team as a Restaurant Operations Manager at Columbus Region. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all Back of House operations and ensuring the highest quality of food products are prepared and presented to our guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures.
  • Enforce compliance with all employment policies and oversee the cleanliness of the restaurant and safety of guests at all times.
  • Direct productivity to monitor and maintain efficient and effective food item ticket times.
  • Manage the performance of Back of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
  • Assist with the development of Key Hourly employees, Assistant Managers, and Hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones.
  • Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks as part of overall responsibility for inventory and safety in the kitchen.
  • Oversee the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items.
  • Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
  • Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor costs.
  • Direct work for kitchen employees, including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant.
  • Train Back of House staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
  • Review applications, interview, and hire or make recommendations to hire Back of House employees.
  • Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment for the staff in a manner consistent with our core values and operational goals.
