- Prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Communicate insurance eligibility and options to clients and their families.
- Direct callers to alternative resources when necessary.
- Experience in a counseling role within a substance misuse treatment setting is preferred.
- A minimum of a high school diploma; a two-year degree or higher is advantageous.
- At least two years of experience in the chemical dependency field, either over the phone or in person.
- Relevant certifications such as CAADAC are a plus.
- Strong computer and communication skills; familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
This role is primarily office-based, with a focus on providing support to individuals seeking treatment services. The work environment is designed to foster collaboration and support among team members.
