About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Howard University. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of Graduate Affairs and other senior administrators
  • Coordinate activities and programs, ensuring optimum efficiency and compliance with policies and procedures
  • Prepare reports, financial statements, and records on program activities and progress
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and develop improved methods
  • Recruit program participants, members, and volunteers
  • Develop and facilitate workshops, meetings, and conferences
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, journalism, communications, emerging media, multimedia, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and Canva
  • Creative, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Excellent process development and organizational skills
  • Ability to navigate multiple priorities and deadlines
