Residency Program Coordinator

Howard University Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and organized Residency Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the residency program, ensuring the smooth operation of the program, and providing administrative support to the Program Director and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the residency program, including scheduling interviews, maintaining files, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the Program Director and residents, including preparing documents, maintaining records, and coordinating logistics.
- Assist with the preparation of the annual program budget and monitor program expenditures.
- Coordinate orientation and re-orientation activities for new and returning resident physicians.
- Serve as a liaison between the hospital, university, and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Services Administration, or three years of substance administrative experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
