Summary of Position:

Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of public areas and guestroom spaces, performing essential janitorial tasks within the Hotel Housekeeping Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and uphold Hospitality Behaviors and Performance Standards.
  • Understand and access necessary information to complete tasks effectively.
  • Exhibit technical skills required for task completion.
  • Take ownership of issues and proactively seek solutions.
  • Provide guests with accurate directions and venue information.
  • Address guest comments and complaints promptly and professionally.

Meet established standards in key responsibilities and operational procedures. Adapt to challenges and find innovative solutions to achieve desired outcomes. Act decisively in the absence of guidance to meet guest and internal customer needs.

Essential Duties:
  • Maintain cleanliness of entry floors and glass doors.
  • Dust and clean baseboards, vents, and furniture.
  • Manage waste disposal and maintain trash receptacles.
  • Vacuum and clean stairways and hallway carpets.
  • Ensure elevators and common areas are kept tidy.
  • Stock and organize supply closets.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and room preparation as required.
Education and Experience:

Must demonstrate the organization's core values and possess the ability to read and write at an 8th-grade level, with relevant experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical tasks as needed.

Work Environment:

Work in a dynamic environment with varying noise levels and potential exposure to smoke and biohazardous materials.
