Job Title: Slot Attendant

Job Summary:

Casino Apache Travel Center is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Slot Attendant to join our team. As a Slot Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive gaming experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Slot Machine Operations: Perform slot machine transactions, operate hand-held communication devices, and complete required IRS forms to document withholdings on gambling winnings.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized slot area, including cleaning slot machines and surrounding areas, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve event goals, exemplifying teamwork and a positive attitude.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, responding to changing situations and priorities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
  • Experience: Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
  • Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to use hand-held communications devices. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for several hours.

The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment. The team member may be exposed to biohazardous fluids such as blood and other body fluids. The team member may be exposed to hostile environments with guests.
