Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Casino Apache Travel Center. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resort, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all regulatory, resort, department, and casino policies and procedures.
  • Empty and clean ash urns/trash cans.
  • Vacuum gaming floor plus office areas.
  • Pick up and dispose of any trash on the gaming area.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms (commodes, sinks, & Floors).
  • Sweep, mop entry floors to foyer, including back of the house.
  • Clean all entry glass doors.
  • Maintain carts stocked with supplies and cleansers.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write at an 8th-grade level.
  • Six months of job-related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education or experience may be substituted.
  • Must have basic knowledge of flooring chemicals to mix solutions correctly.
  • Obtains and maintains a gaming or non-gaming license.
  • Must have high mechanical aptitude to operate machinery at all times.
  • Previous employment with IMGR&C or CATC will be considered as experience along with satisfactory work history such as job performance, attendance, and responsibility.
  • Mescalero Apache Tribal preference; bicultural experience preferred.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

The noise level in the work environment is loud. The team member will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment. The team member may be exposed to biohazardous fluids such as blood and other body fluids. The team member may be exposed to hostile environments with guests. May be subject to high stress environments.
