Executive Vice President of Business Development

We are seeking a seasoned executive to spearhead our business development strategy in the telecommunications industry. This key role involves identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships, overseeing proposal development, and driving the growth and profitability of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Vision and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with overall objectives, identify market trends, client needs, and competitive positioning to refine our approach, and collaborate with the executive team to set long-term goals and create actionable plans.
  • Financial Management: Manage the business development and pre-construction budget, monitor and report on the financial performance of business development activities, and ensure that efforts contribute to overall profitability.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners, understand client needs, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and new markets, evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit and growth potential, and develop strategies to enter new markets and expand our client base.
  • Proposal Management and Negotiations: Oversee the creation of proposals, bids, and presentations for potential projects, lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure contracts and agreements, and ensure proposals are competitive and reflect our capabilities and goals.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with operations, accounting, supply chain, and estimation teams to support business development efforts.
  • Mentorship and Development: Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, and communicate goals, strategies, and progress to the executive team and stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development within the construction, telecommunications, or semiconductor industries.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, including project management and client relations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in-office or at client locations five days per week.
  • Proficiency in Korean is a plus but not required.
