Position Overview

RECEPTIONIST ROLE

POSITION SUMMARY Singleton Schreiber, LLP is in search of a dynamic and resourceful client service representative to fulfill the full-time role of receptionist at our San Diego office. As the initial point of contact for clients, the receptionist is expected to exhibit outstanding interpersonal communication abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Given our law firm's diverse practice areas and extensive client base, we are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual who can maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

This position is entirely on-site at our San Diego office, and we require candidates to be bilingual in Spanish and English.

This is a temporary role with the potential for permanent placement.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

$24.00-$27.00/hour

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the position.

Singleton Schreiber, LLP provides a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance, childcare reimbursement, a transportation reimbursement program, paid parental leave, and a 401k plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the firm with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Manage a high volume of calls across multiple lines with sensitivity and poise.
  • Efficiently identify and direct calls to the appropriate personnel and teams.
  • Perform data entry, administrative tasks, and other special projects from the reception area.
  • Maintain and stock the conference room.
  • Receive deliveries, sort, and distribute incoming mail.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficiency in multi-line telephone systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a receptionist in a professional environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a client or customer service role.
  • 1+ year of experience in a law firm setting is preferred.
  • Experience with case management software is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy consistent with contemporary business standards (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Proficiency in operating standard office equipment.
  • General knowledge of mailing systems (USPS, UPS, & FedEx).
  • Physical requirements include the ability to bend, reach, lift packages up to 25 lbs., and prolonged periods of sitting.
  • Must be able to work full-time in our San Diego office.
