Position Summary:The Used Vehicle Acquisition Specialist is primarily tasked with implementing a systematic approach to identify, evaluate, and present purchase offers to current vehicle owners. The ultimate goal is to acquire vehicles from various sources for resale.
Key Responsibilities:- Initiate contact with potential sellers, manage follow-ups, and coordinate appointments for vehicle appraisals and purchases.
- Leverage CRM tools for effective prospecting and lead generation.
- Engage with current vehicle owners during scheduled appointments and on the dealership service drive to facilitate vehicle purchases.
- Approach and interact with dealership customers to assess and propose purchase offers for their vehicles.
- Conduct thorough appraisals of used vehicles by asking pertinent questions, capturing images, and entering vehicle details into the inventory management system.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to formulate and present competitive offers to sellers.
- Facilitate introductions to the sales department for customers interested in purchasing a new vehicle after selling their existing one.
- Review monthly performance metrics with management to optimize time management and strategic planning.
- Proven success in a customer-oriented sales position or previous experience in vehicle acquisition.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers, building rapport and addressing their inquiries professionally.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a persuasive and articulate manner over the phone.
- Resilience in handling rejection and a persistent approach to pursuing leads while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Proficient in utilizing CRM software and other technological tools for lead management and progress tracking.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Authorization to work in the USA is required.
- Willingness to comply with pre-employment requirements, including drug testing and background checks.
Hourly Rate / Commission Structure:
- Uncapped Commission Potential
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $75,000+ annually
- Based on achieving and surpassing dealership goals.
*The compensation structure includes a base hourly wage of $20, with additional commission based on the number of vehicles acquired, with no upper limit based on performance. A production bonus may also be available based on individual or team achievements.
Work Schedule:- Full-Time Position
- 5 days a week with 2 days off
- Weekend availability is required
