We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Executive to join our client, a boutique consulting firm specializing in biotech and life sciences. This high-impact role is based in Boston, MA, and offers a lucrative performance-based incentive structure.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in business development, preferably within consulting, biotech, or technology services. Strong relationships with C-level decision-makers and a proven track record of closing deals are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the biotech, life sciences, and pharmaceutical industries.
  • Build a robust pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and attendance at industry events.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with high-level stakeholders to understand their data challenges and AI readiness needs.
  • Deliver consultative sales presentations to highlight the value of the client's services in structuring and preparing data for AI.
  • Closing new business deals and managing contract processes to ensure client satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven ability to close deals and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong familiarity with the biotech and life sciences sectors, especially in relation to data and AI applications.
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are a plus.
