Position Overview: We are seeking Mechanical Assembly Specialists who possess mechanical aptitude and experience with basic hand tools and assembly processes. If you take pride in your work and are a team player, you may be an excellent fit for our operations at PARKER | Chelsea.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret work orders and parts for assembly to ensure proper testing.
  • Coordinate work orders based on customer schedules.
  • Utilize various tools, presses, and testing equipment.
  • Follow blueprints and written instructions to apply assembly procedures.
  • Maintain product quality and adhere to safety and housekeeping protocols.
  • Participate in quality management systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training to fellow employees in assembly and testing methods as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work mandatory overtime.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer, math, and industrial skills.
  • Mechanical competency is essential.
  • Capability to see near, distance, and color.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to provide effective solutions.
  • Accurate and thorough work performance with effective communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changes in the workplace and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Effective time management to meet deadlines.

Additional Information: Candidates must pass a background check and drug test, be at least 18 years old, and be able to lift 40 pounds. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Compensation: The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.50. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
