About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at SIMOS in Olive Branch, MS. As a key member of our industrial manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing Power-Take-Off Units in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test PTO units according to blueprints and quality standards.
  • Coordinate work orders and schedules with customers and internal teams.
  • Operate various tools, presses, and test stands to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Work from instructions, lists, and verbal/written procedures to apply assembly and testing methodologies.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and housekeeping rules and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide training to other employees as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including standing for 10 hours a day and working mandatory overtime.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Background check and ability to pass a drug test.
  • Able to lift 40 pounds and stand for shift duration.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
