Job Summary
Nortek Control LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing a variety of tasks, including product testing, inspection, and rework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and operate the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Use verbal and written instructions for kit assembly, rework, testing, block coding, and inspection of product.
- Lift, unpack, test, repack, and document results.
- Provide support as requested by a Lead.
- Maintain cleanliness of assembly area.
- Help with unpacking and taping of boxes with products.
- Move material with pallet jack or on cart.
- Support safety initiatives and follow all safety guidelines.
- Pays close attention to detail to ensure processes are done correctly.
- Must count parts and product accurately.
- Use a computer to perform testing/flashing of products.
- Handle test fixtures as directed.
- Communicate and report work status to VAS Supervisor.
- Understand, support, and execute all work in established procedures, methods, and working requirements.
- Implement and maintain department policies and standards.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be familiar with working with electronic devices.
- Computer literacy required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and written/verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and eager to succeed.
Physical Requirements:
- Essential functions of this job require the following minimal physical demands. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use hands to grip or feel; and occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Manual dexterity suitable for use of utilizing a computer.
