About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at Staff Management SMX. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing PTO units in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test PTO units to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Coordinate work orders and schedules to meet customer demands
  • Operate various tools, presses, and test stands to assemble and test PTO units
  • Work from blueprints, lists, and instructions to apply various procedures
  • Ensure quality of product and follow all safety and housekeeping rules and procedures
  • Adhere to the quality management system and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide training to other employees in assembly and test methodology as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Basic computer, math, and industrial skills
  • Mechanical competence
  • Ability to see near/distance/color
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
  • Able to perform work accurately and thoroughly and to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to adapt to change in the workplace and work in a team environment
  • Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines
