Aerotek is seeking skilled Electronics Repair Specialists for a prominent manufacturing firm. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and rectifying issues with electronic servers that have failed during testing. Once the malfunction has been identified at the component level, you will proceed with the necessary replacements and ensure the units are sent back for further evaluation.
Your responsibilities will also include assembling, testing, and troubleshooting new electronic builds intended for the production line.
Shift Details: 2nd shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM (availability until 1:30 AM)
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (availability from 12 PM - 5 PM)
Compensation: $18 per hour plus a $2 shift differential, totaling $20 per hour.
Required Skills- Expertise in troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose server malfunctions
- Experience in component replacement
- Proficiency in building and testing new electronic assemblies
- A+ Certification or an Associate's degree in a related field is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Competence in documentation
This position is classified as Contract-to-Hire, with an expected duration of 520 hours.
Work EnvironmentThis role is entirely on-site. The manufacturing area is climate-controlled, while the testing department requires hearing protection due to elevated noise levels.
