Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with commercial growers in the Texas territory. Your primary goal will be to increase sales and revenue by identifying new business opportunities and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory-specific annual sales plan that aligns with company goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial growers in the Texas territory.
  • Identify and communicate new product and service opportunities to growers.
  • Monitor and report on competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, shipping fees, merchandising, volume, etc.
  • Work with Finance/Accounts Receivable on customer terms.
  • Participate in customer-facing webinars and educational events.
  • Travel to regional trade shows, conferences, and conduct grower visits.
  • Participate in all company-wide and quarterly meetings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in horticulture, sustainable agriculture, or related science field.
  • 3-5 years of wide territory field sales experience.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build strategic business plans.
  • Solid communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a geographically spread team.
  • A customer-first mindset and ability to deliver at the highest levels of customer service.
  • A team-focused orientation and ability to leverage relationships with your team to the organization's benefit.
