Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Wine Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying and acquiring new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and implement customized sales programs to increase sales and revenue growth
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including on and off-premise accounts
  • Communicate effectively with sales staff, clients, and management to ensure seamless sales processes
  • Attend off-hours events, such as wine dinners, tastings, trade shows, and fundraising events, to promote our products and build relationships
  • Stay up-to-date on new product offerings and explore additional marketing opportunities with clients
  • Collaborate with the sales manager and owner to generate additional sales and revenue growth
  • Collect payments from clients as needed
  • Attend regular sales meetings to discuss sales strategies and goals
  • Represent Angelini Wine, Ltd. with integrity and professionalism at all times

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong desire and commitment to outside sales and client development
  • Maturity to work independently and make decisions
  • Love of wine and knowledge of the wine and spirits industry (preferred)
  • Demonstrated perseverance and positive attitude
  • Outside sales experience and industry knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Excellent people skills and positive attitude
  • Current, clean driver's license/record and valid car insurance
  • Basic computer skills, including using company-provided iPads and social media

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary plus commission (we pay some of the highest commissions in the industry)
