Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team at Insurance Office of America. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a book of business, meeting performance requirements regarding production, quality, and service.
  • Interact with clients on moderately to high complex accounts, devising creative solutions to meet their needs.
  • Actively seek to grow IOA business, identifying and acting on sales opportunities.
  • Track policy expirations, ensuring timely renewals and facilitating the management of Expiration and AR reports.
  • Participate in new business and policy renewal processes, conducting client research, gathering necessary information, and evaluating coverages and pricing.
  • Create and distribute client invoicing, collecting outstanding balances due, and assisting with client claims processes as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of insurance experience.
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • All required active licensing - minimum of 20-44.
  • Advanced customer service skills.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, delegation, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform substantial work volumes with high degrees of accuracy.
  • PC proficiency, including basic knowledge of MS Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret data for application in rational decision making.
  • Exceptional personal character.
