Emerging Revenue Strategist

The Star Tribune is a pioneering media organization that has been a beacon of journalistic excellence for 157 years. We're seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development and growth of new subscriber and consumer revenue streams.
About the RoleAs the Emerging Revenue Director, you will be responsible for driving the ideation, development, and launch of innovative consumer products. You will work collaboratively across sales, marketing, product, brand marketing, and the newsroom to create new revenue streams and expand subscriber bases.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and stand-up new subscriber and consumer revenue lines
- Work cross-functionally to develop new consumer products
- Own the P&Ls of new subscriber or consumer growth channels
- Grow subscribers and audiences of new products
- Seek out opportunities for consumer revenue growth
- 5+ years of experience building subscriber or membership businesses
- Proven track record of developing new revenue lines
- Cross-functional leader with strong collaboration and communication skills
- Innovative and creative self-starter
- Experience working with B2B products
- Partnership experience a plus
