Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the Product Marketing team within the Commercial Air Division, overseeing all facets of sales performance and profitability. Your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth while achieving the division's margin targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- **Leadership of the Product Marketing Team**:

  • Evaluate team performance and set developmental goals.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to enhance team capabilities.

- **Management of Key Performance Indicators**:

  • Monitor Gross/Net Margin by Product on Orders.
  • Track Gross/Net Order Rates and Revenue.
  • Manage order pipelines and forecasts.

- **Market Analysis and Strategy Development**:

  • Identify market share opportunities and assess competitive strengths and weaknesses.
  • Develop pricing strategies and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Oversee new product introductions and promotional plans.

- **Sales Training and Support**:

  • Create training materials for web-based platforms.
  • Conduct product training sessions for sales personnel.

- **Operational Reviews**:

  • Prepare and present monthly performance metrics related to sales and margin objectives.
  • Update management on market trends and product developments.

- **Strategic Planning and Budget Management**:

  • Contribute to the annual strategic plan for the Commercial Air Division.
  • Evaluate progress against strategic objectives and adjust plans as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A robust background in product marketing, ideally within the electronics, defense, or technology sectors.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing, particularly in product marketing roles.
  • Experience in managing marketing teams and assessing performance.
  • Strong financial acumen related to product marketing metrics.
  • A proven track record in launching new products and optimizing existing lines.
  • Expertise in market research and competitive analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting to senior management.

While not essential, familiarity with commercial air standards and regulations in electronics may be advantageous. The ability to adapt to evolving market conditions and innovate marketing strategies is crucial for success in this role.
