- Schedule Overtime: Schedule overtime as required by workload, ensuring adequate staffing to meet customer demands.
- Maintain Employee Timekeeping: Maintain accurate employee timekeeping records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Schedule Employee Vacations: Schedule employee vacations based on typical workload, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Learn Inspection Work: Learn all aspects of inspection work, including understanding test equipment and inspection requirements.
- Validate Inspector Rejections: Validate inspector rejections, ensuring accuracy and quality of inspection results.
- Prioritize Customer Source Product Inspection: Prioritize customer source product inspection as required, ensuring timely completion and meeting customer expectations.
- Interface with Customer Source Inspector: Interface with customer source inspector onsite, providing assistance and support as needed.
- Delegated Source Inspector: Become delegated source inspector for customers that require coverage, ensuring quality and accuracy of inspection results.
- Inspector Training: Oversee inspector training as required by the quality manual, ensuring employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Abide by Collective Bargaining Unit Rules: Abide by collective bargaining unit rules and all safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Customer Service Interface: Act as the primary interface for customer service, receiving and resolving customer issues and questions.
- Coordinate Action Items: Coordinate action items with Quality Engineers, Process Engineers, manufacturing, and all other required resources to satisfy customer needs.
- Lead Investigative Teams: Lead investigative teams and efforts as required to satisfy timelines and customer needs.
- Problem Solving: Utilize problem-solving techniques and tools during investigations to assure full and final resolution of issues.
- Maintain Constant Interface: Maintain constant interface with customer until issue is resolved to customer approval.
- Create and Update Inspection Routines: Create and update inspection routines to meet customer requirements, ensuring accuracy and quality of inspection results.
- Working Knowledge: Possess working knowledge of the Quality Manual, military specifications, ITAR, and the quality system.
- Education: Two-year degree or equivalent work experience preferred as a minimum.
- Familiarity with Inspection Tools: Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to Work in Production Environment: Ability to work in a production environment, with frequent sitting, lifting, walking, standing, and computer use.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to Create and Document Inspection Routines: Ability to create and document inspection routines in a clear, concise, and logical format for employees to follow.
- Capable of Working with and Motivating Employees: Capable of working with and motivating employees to achieve company goals.
