Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

As a key player in our organization, you will oversee your designated product lines as if they were your own enterprise, gaining a deep understanding of the target markets, customer needs, applications, competitors, cost structures, and profit margins.

Your role will involve cross-departmental collaboration to spearhead cost-saving initiatives, negotiate business opportunities, design and implement marketing campaigns, and manage the introduction of new products to the market.

This position may be filled at various levels including Product Specialist, Assistant Product Manager, or Product Manager, based on your qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Marketing Manager include:

Product Management:

  • Formulate product strategies and manage budgets effectively.
  • Set and achieve monthly sales targets, supporting the sales team in closing deals.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  • Assess and prioritize new product opportunities and requirements.
  • Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of the product line.

Pricing & Profitability:

  • Monitor daily margin reports and take necessary actions.
  • Ensure margins meet expectations for both sales and revenue.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies.
  • Provide pricing solutions for corporate contracts to maximize market share and profitability.
  • Estimate costs for new product development.

Promotional Activities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Communications team to create engaging content across various platforms.
  • Establish regular promotional strategies for the product line.
  • Continuously analyze competitor promotional tactics.
  • Conduct regular visits to key clients.

Sales Channel Development:

  • Build strong relationships with sales channels and work together to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Identify and implement channel strategies with distribution and OEM sales teams.
  • Engage with distributors to enhance market presence.
  • Support training initiatives for both direct sales and distribution teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or engineering is preferred, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in product strategy development, budgeting, pricing, and promotional planning.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of management.
  • Experience in product promotion and sales.
  • Highly organized and self-driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Aptitude for learning and utilizing operational software.
