The Field Service Technician I plays a crucial role in delivering technical support for HTx Services LLC. This position is dedicated to providing comprehensive assistance to designated Financial Centers and clients within a specific area, ensuring that all issues are addressed or escalated to the correct department. The technician will troubleshoot hardware, software, and user-related issues, recommending and executing corrective measures to resolve incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and support Financial Centers and administrative personnel by performing preventative maintenance, installations, modifications, and repairs on all related hardware, including ATMs (both standalone and branch-based), Teller/Platform Systems, Voice, Networking, and Data Communication equipment.

Ensure timely resolution of requests submitted through incident management and various ticketing systems.

Deliver prompt, professional, and efficient service to both internal and external clients.

Work autonomously to troubleshoot and resolve issues with minimal supervision.

Establish and nurture strong working relationships with clients, both internally and externally.

Proactively identify potential maintenance or repair requirements that could affect customer service and sales at assigned locations.

Complete administrative tasks to provide management with necessary information for tracking progress and staffing needs, including:

  • Expense submissions and report maintenance
  • Periodic written updates
  • Documentation of work orders
  • Inventory management of company equipment
  • Maintenance of company vehicles as required

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven technical experience in Field Service Maintenance for ATMs and/or desktops, utilizing Trouble Management Systems, diagnostic tools, Asset Management Systems, and other resources to effectively manage daily operations.

Understanding of Networking Fundamentals (e.g., Topologies, Cabling, and Networking Hardware) and basic communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP).

Familiarity with LAN/WAN, Internet, Windows Operating Systems, Applications, and Email Systems, along with expertise in P/C Hardware Troubleshooting (e.g., System Disassembly and Inspection, Motherboards, Microprocessors, ROM, RAM, Serial Parallel Ports, USB ports, CD/DVD Drives, and Hardware Diagnostics).

Ability to interpret electrical schematics and comprehend diagnostic and repair instructions for data/telecommunication networks and systems equipment.

Technical certifications such as A+ and MCP are advantageous.

A collaborative professional with exceptional communication skills.

Knowledge of the local geographic area is preferred.

Effectively communicate specific repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks to clients in layman's terms.

A highly motivated self-starter who requires minimal hands-on management.

Possession of a clean, valid Driver's License (long-distance driving may be necessary).

Willingness to travel and flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required.
