Position Overview:

The Senior Source Test Project Manager is responsible for executing complex technical tasks related to air quality ambient monitoring, odor assessment, source testing, data management, documentation, and reporting, along with various environmental compliance requirements for our clients. This role also involves supporting Air Quality Permitting and Compliance initiatives, analyzing permit-related technical and regulatory matters, and effectively communicating findings within the organization and to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage air quality monitoring, industrial hygiene assessments, and source testing projects.
  • Conduct facility site evaluations utilizing a variety of testing methodologies and monitoring equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements related to air quality and emissions.
  • Provide guidance on Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and data acquisition systems.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of compliance testing and monitoring activities.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and analyses in a clear and professional manner.
  • Stay informed about evolving environmental regulations and best practices in the field.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in ambient air quality monitoring, industrial hygiene, or related fields, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Proven expertise in air monitoring and source testing, with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance.
  • Qualified Source Test Individual (QSTI) certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting regulations and developing practical solutions.
  • Experience in project management and advanced proficiency in computer applications and database management.
  • Ability to work independently and conduct field visits to client sites.
