Position Overview:
The Senior Source Test Project Manager is responsible for executing complex technical tasks related to air quality monitoring, odor assessment, source testing, data management, recordkeeping, and reporting, as well as fulfilling various environmental compliance obligations for our clients. This role also involves supporting Air Quality Permitting and Compliance initiatives, analyzing technical and regulatory issues, and effectively communicating findings within the organization and to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage ambient air quality monitoring, industrial hygiene assessments, and source testing projects.
- Conduct facility site evaluations utilizing a variety of testing methodologies and monitoring equipment.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding air quality and emissions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of monitoring and testing activities.
- Provide compliance assistance related to Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) and other monitoring technologies.
- Prepare technical reports and documents, presenting complex data in a clear and professional manner.
- Continuously enhance knowledge in air quality and environmental regulations to support client needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in air quality monitoring, source testing, or a related field, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Qualified Source Test Individual (QSTI) certification is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of air quality regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in project management and advanced computer applications.
- Ability to work independently and conduct field visits as necessary.
