Position Overview

We are looking for a Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Senior Analyst to enhance our cyber security GRC program. This role is pivotal in developing processes and implementing initiatives related to risk management, training, policy development, metrics, and compliance. The position reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is integral to our cyber security team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and operationalize comprehensive cyber security policies, standards, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Establish a cyber security risk management framework to identify and assess risks, provide mitigation strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement necessary controls.
  • Maintain a cyber security risk register and work with stakeholders to develop actionable plans to address identified risks.
  • Conduct compliance reviews in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment with security policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Design and implement security training and awareness programs for the organization.
  • Collaborate on data classification initiatives and develop a data loss prevention strategy.
  • Engage in incident response exercises, business continuity planning, and compliance activities, tracking the progress of remediation efforts.
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber security threats and advise stakeholders on appropriate responses.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) for the cyber security program.
  • Manage security projects and execute assigned tasks as part of the AZEK cyber security team.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in cyber security GRC.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Preferred certifications include CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, or GRCP.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO, MITRE, OWASP, PCI-DSS, and SOX.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, including CCPA and GDPR.
  • Experience in conducting cyber security risk assessments.
  • Ability to translate technical language into business risks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • A proactive approach to delivering results in a dynamic environment.

Success Metrics

  • Within the first 90 days: Begin assessing and documenting cyber security risks.
  • Within six months: Establish a cyber risk management program and create relevant policies.
  • Within one year: Effectively track and remediate cyber security risks while reporting on KPIs and KRIs.
