Position Overview
We are looking for a Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Senior Analyst to enhance our cyber security framework. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing processes related to risk management, compliance, and security awareness. You will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and collaborate closely with the cyber security team.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and refine enterprise-wide cyber security policies, standards, and controls to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Establish and operationalize a comprehensive cyber security risk management program to identify and address risks throughout the organization.
- Maintain a cyber security risk register and collaborate with stakeholders to develop corrective action plans.
- Conduct ongoing compliance assessments in accordance with security policies and applicable regulations.
- Design and implement security training and awareness programs for all employees.
- Work with stakeholders to classify data and implement a data loss prevention strategy.
- Engage in incident response exercises, business continuity planning, and compliance testing.
- Stay informed about emerging cyber security threats and provide guidance to stakeholders.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) for the cyber security program.
- Manage security-related projects and contribute to the overall objectives of the cyber security team.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security governance, risk, and compliance.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Preferred certifications include CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, or GRCP.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO, MITRE, OWASP, and PCI-DSS.
- Understanding of data privacy laws, including CCPA and GDPR.
- Experience in conducting cyber security risk assessments.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business implications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
