Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to enhance our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing processes that ensure our cyber security posture is robust and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and refine enterprise-wide cyber security policies and standards to address risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Establish a comprehensive cyber security risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the organization.
  • Maintain a detailed cyber security risk register and collaborate with stakeholders to create action plans for risk remediation.
  • Conduct regular compliance assessments in alignment with security policies and regulatory frameworks.
  • Design and implement security awareness and training programs for all employees.
  • Collaborate on data classification initiatives and establish a data loss prevention strategy.
  • Engage in incident response exercises and compliance activities, tracking the progress of remediation efforts.
  • Stay informed about emerging cyber threats and provide guidance to stakeholders on necessary actions.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) for the cyber security program.
  • Manage security projects and contribute to the overall objectives of the cyber security team.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in cyber security GRC.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is required.
  • Preferred certifications include CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, or GRCP.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST, ISO, and PCI-DSS.
  • Strong knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA.
  • Experience in conducting cyber security risk assessments.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business implications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach to managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A genuine passion for cyber security.

Compensation
