**Job Summary**

The Operations Manager at OEM Tube is responsible for driving operational excellence across all sites, aligning production goals with business objectives, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Drive operational excellence across all sites, align production goals with business objectives, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and empower management teams to develop and deliver impactful short and long-term strategies and action plans.
  • Develop plant managers and operations teams across all sites to achieve their full potential and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Partner with management teams to develop and direct KPIs, metrics, and continuous improvement in each area.
  • Identify and analyze current business processes, recommending and implementing improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
  • Cooperate in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments to drive continuous improvement in safety, processes, quality, and productivity.
  • Maintains a strategic approach to staffing, training, and succession planning.
  • Promote cooperation and teamwork among production, management, sales, quality, and customers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop and manage capital expenditure projects related to facility upgrades, equipment purchases, and process improvements.

**Working Conditions**

Work involves lifting materials and product up to 25 pounds. Work involves standing, walking, and lifting during workday. Exposed to any number of elements but with none present to the extent of being disagreeable or hazardous. Noise level is normal for a manufacturing environment.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related discipline required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
  • Proven track record of successful process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
  • Highly developed project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in team building and mentoring.
  • ISO 9001 experience and understanding of requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Lean/Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies; certification a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant operations management software.
  • Ability to travel frequently between sites, as required.
