In this role, you will oversee a team to ensure flawless event execution and surpass guest expectations. Your meticulous attention to detail and leadership abilities will be essential as you manage events with expertise and poise.

Compensation:

$18 hourly + Tips

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delegate specific responsibilities to team members for each event, ensuring coverage for all shifts, including preparation, guest reception, event conclusion, and ancillary tasks.
  • Conduct team briefings at the beginning of each shift. Review attire, clarify assignments, and discuss service protocols for each event.
  • Greet the event host and maintain ongoing communication throughout the event.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and the Event Coordinator to meticulously plan all events.
  • Track issued uniforms and ensure their return. Organize soiled uniforms for laundering.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in both front and back of house areas.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu for each event and effectively communicate key ingredients and preparation techniques to guests.
  • Compile detailed reports for each function, including feedback from the host.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests.
  • Utilize a cash register or point-of-sale system as necessary.
  • Address guest concerns within your authority or escalate them to management. Inform supervisors or security of any unusual occurrences, missing items, or suspected thefts.
  • Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned.
  • Engage in all staff meetings as required by management.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage, administrative staff, and colleagues to ensure consistent service and high-quality operations.
Qualifications:
  • Commitment to high-quality standards for production and service.
  • Ability to remain diplomatic and composed.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Prior experience in banquet operations is essential.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.
  • Preferred experience in hospitality.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA is mandatory.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, with physical tasks including bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds, with occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motions.
